Import Root CA Certificate

NOTE: Admin or Security Admin user roles are required to perform this task.

To import the Root CA Certificate into the Unisphere trust store:

Steps

  1. Select VMware > vCenters and ESXi from the menu bar on the left side of the screen.
    The registered virtualization server cards are displayed, or the Getting Started view is displayed.
  2. Click Import Root CA Certificate to add a Root CA certificate to the Unisphere trust store.
  3. Select Choose File.
    Browse to the file and select OK.
  4. Validation checks are performed on the chosen file.
    A window is displayed stating the import was successful.
    NOTE:  If one of the following certificates is selected, an error message is displayed:
    • A noncertificate
    • CA intermediate certificate
    • Self-Signed certificate
    • End-Entity certificate
    • Multiple certificates
